Shelly Dingeldein – BIOGRAPHY
In 2003, Shelly Dingeldein had the vision to revitalize a vacant building in downtown Rock Island. With determination and a lot of elbow grease, what was once Spector Liquors, a 1950’s bowling alley, bar, liquor store and warehouse, was transformed into dphilms, a hip and retro studio space that was way before its time. dphilms has since called this production studio and office space in Downtown Rock Island, Illinois home. No matter what the project, dphilms delivers impactful video & photography production services for local, national and international clients.
Shelly is a woman of 1,000 hats, and just as many arms, and is the ringmaster at dphilms. She owns and manages our small woman-owned business by tackling the day to day responsibilities for human resources, accounting, and payroll. Have a question about an invoice or looking for payment? She’s got the answer.
Outside of work, you can find Shelly doing DIY projects, upcycling, and creating art for her friends and family. She’s a master at planning events and decorating, and she also enjoys spending time with her grandson, Myles.
